It’s Emancipation Day.

Freedom for the perfectionists stewing in self-criticism, paralyzed by fear, or wrestling with unresolved trauma, who aspire to create a life that feels satisfying and fulfilling.

ONLINE THERAPY FOR ADULTS

Servicing Mississippi, Virginia, D.C., Maryland, Georgia, Florida, and all PSYPACT participating states.

You thought you’d be happy by now.

You’ve put in the work. You’ve given your all to your education, your career, and your relationships. Check. Check. Check. You did everything you thought you were supposed to do, and yet, it doesn’t seem like life is getting any easier. You can’t help but feel like nothing you do is ever good enough.

But you can’t give yourself a break or slow down now. You don’t want to be selfish and time spent on anything other than being productive feels wrong. You feel guilty for even considering it. Everyone always seems to need something from you, and even though you don’t have the energy, saying no feels wrong.

You’ve been feeling like a half tablespoon of butter on too many pieces of bread: spread way too thin.

You’ve suffered long enough.

Release.

Let go - untie - unshackle - break free. You name it. If you’ve grown tired of feeling imprisoned by your fears, with every day feeling like a fight you can never win…let’s change that. Now.

Restore.

Reclaim what you lost - your time, your peace, your joie de vivre. I help people like you take steps in a new direction, breaking cycles, and achieving what you never thought you could. You don’t have to do this alone.

Repeat.

Until you're on your chosen path. There’ll be nothing left that can keep you from the life you’ve always wanted.

I’m here to help you untangle yourself from the chaos and start fresh.

I’M DR. ALLISON.

I specialize in helping those who are anxious and overwhelmed learn to recognize and honor their needs - giving themselves permission to slow down, scale back, set healthy boundaries, go after what they truly want, and be themselves (unapologetically).

I started my practice knowing that I do my best work when I can just be myself. And I also know that my clients thrive when they feel comfortable enough to be themselves. I value authenticity, or “realness,” and aim to make therapy an ideal place for it. So please, come as you are. You have nothing to prove.
